Tonight we went to a fundraiser for the local volunteer fire department and the kids had a blast. I was so relieved that they found friends at the event - there were so many wonderful families that came out for the festivities. I chuckled when I saw their boots all piled up - the grass was so soft that everyone was running around barefooted. I have been buying our kids boots from Miron Crosby, a brand whose roots are right next door to us both at the ranch and in Dallas.
