I’m obsessed with the bag from Oroton. It’s such a great size. It will fit your computer and everything a girl might need on a workday. It’s lovely weather, beautifully made and the internals are practically designed to fit everything in its organised spot. It comes in this lovely smooth leather and an equally lovely pebbles texture. This bag is a must have!!

Love these jeans from Neuw Denim. They’ve a loose (ie very comfortable) leg and there’s no elastin (so they don’t cling to your lumpy bits!). I think the colour in these is Arizona and I had to size down.

In the ‘how to dress for winter at night’ series, here’s a denim look that is polished and modern. I love a cropped boxy jacket with slightly narrower denim jean and a small heel to make it feel a bit more ‘dressed’. Here are some great wear to style the new longer skirt shapes around this season.

Shearling (or this case faux shearling) jackets are so warm for these chillier days and are available at every price point. Great when paired back to denim. These are a fave from Toteme and are narrower in the leg than my regular picks!

Denim with a crunchy blue shirt has always been a classic and still looks fresh. Equally classic when paired with a simple sneaker and trench.

Here’s a great capsule wardrobe in basic black and white where everything works together in multiple ways. All of these looks will work for office and with the change of a shoe and earring, they can take you from office to dinner. These are all quality pieces that will last for years to come.

I love white/cream/off white for winter (and summer actually). The pants from Oroton are my favourite style right now- waisted, pleats and wide leg! These ones are in wool. The shirt is great too, I love the print and lapel that makes it almost like a jacket. Perfect for work or add a sparkly earring and you could go from work to dinner!

I’ve always been a fan of the Lululemon leggings. I like how the panelling and sucking in fabric in the Fast and Free style does in fact suck you in (for me anyway this means more flattering), plus it wears and washes well. None of that pilling that happens with some exercise brands (one of my absolute pet hates, it makes garments look cheap). The boxy sweat in the deepest of browns works well with this dirty dusty pink colour and will work with the rest of my wardrobe (khakis/navys/shades of beige and brown). I’ve this style of legging in black and navy and olive and I’ve had them for ages and will continue wearing them years to come!

Look of the day. Fab coat from Jag in a light grey marle wool. Super comfy and great for autumn dressing over a tee on the warmer days and it will easily fit a bulkier knit underneath on the cooler days!

This is a great way to make jeans more sophisticated and polished. Pair with a great tailored jacket and a kitten heel. Add a belt if you like (I love this roulade style). I normally prefer a wide leg Jean which would also work here but I’m suddenly feeling something narrower and showing a bit of ankle shoes off the kitten heel. These are all old and my own (except for the kitten heels) so I’ve put in similar. #stylingtips #dressupjeans

Another outfit for these days where it starts out cold and heats up. I know it’s probably not respectful to tailoring but I actually love the look of tying a jacket around your wait and it’s definitely better than having to carry it around once the temperature goes up. You can always steam out the arms later with a hand steamer!

The burgundy/brown Adidas SL 72’s have just been released at Stylerunner today! I’ve searched the world for this colour in my size without any luck so get in fast. I’m obsessed with this colour and prefer the bit more height on these compared to the Sambas. Second favourite colour is the green with pink.

Love them super wide leg jeans from Cotton On. They are a cotton and Lyocell mix (whatever that is) but they are Very Comfy and also flattering!
