- 3 60” Norfolk pine garlands
- a set of 3 candlesticks on each side
- 3 battery powered taper candles on each side
- bows on candles are 3/8” burgundy velvet ribbon
- bows on sides are 1.5” burgundy velvet and 3/8” classic red velvet ribbon
- battery powered white lights are on the garland
- I attached two command hooks to the top of the mantel to hang the ribbon from

Dob’t worry not actually decorating for Christmas yet - but Christmas is all about the details and I’m planning ahead to stay sane! Testing out my new velvet burgundy ribbon that I’m using this year. Tying a delicate bow on top our favorite brass dinner bell will definitely be on my list when the time comes.

- the ribbon is 3/8” thick - I also bought the 1.5”

- our dinner bell is from Monika Hibbs Home - it’s the classic 4” size but unfortunately cannot be linked here

To me holidays are a lot less stressful if I plan ahead - here are a few things I do ahead of time to get ready for Christmas!

- decide on a color scheme - this year I’m doing a deep burgundy red!
- purchase ribbon - this is one thing I think often sells out!
- make sure I have my decor planned out (mostly anyway)
- I use the same garland each year but I usually try to add one new strand
- buy a few new ornaments each year

Here’s how I plan on using it…
- bows with the 3/8” ribbon on our Christmas tree
- bows on our sconces and dinner bell using the 3/8” ribbon
- 1.5” ribbon is great for the mantel garland and stairs
- both sizes work well on gifts!
