If you’re like me then you probably have some wrapping paper that feels too cute to just use for present wrapping! That’s how I felt about some of the prints I have from @evelynhenson’s collection and after seeing some creative 3D paper stars I decided to try to make my own. If you can cut and fold and pick out wrapping paper you love then you can make these!

I’ve shared everything I used to make them including the star template in case you want to decorate with them too. I have plans to make more to match our decor and even want to figure out a way to make a larger version to use as a tree topper!

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit where my faux greenery garland is from, but I am pleasantly surprised with how it looks! As soon as I came across @allthefinery’s custom ornaments I knew they would be the perfect way to commemorate some of this year’s big events!! I’m blown away by how perfectly she depicted the church where we got married (wreaths and all) and our @papereliza save the date crest. I also got some done as gifts and am eager to have one done of Winnie, my bridal bouquet, and our wedding reception venue! Cheers to Saturday night and our favorite festive cocktail lately! 🥂 It’s incredibly easy to make and you could easily turn it into a mocktail too. Hope it helps to make spirits bright during your happy hour soon! 🎄

To make:

I recommend making this in a clear glass since the color of the cocktail is pretty on its own.
Step one — Add ice. We love using these giant ice cubes or reusable ones when making cocktails at home! Either of these would make a great stocking stuffer!
Step two — Add alcohol of your choice. We used one shot of @basilhayden’s Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey! You could easily skip this step to enjoy it as a mocktail instead.
Step three — Fill your cup just above halfway with @traderjoes Winter Wassail Punch! This is a seasonal item, so be sure to get it while you can.
Step four — Top the drink with ginger ale or ginger beer for a yummy fizz! I suspect sparkling water would work well too but may dilute the flavor of the Wassail a bit.

Stir, garnish, and enjoy!! 🎅🏻

Our tree still has a ways to go but is slowly but surely coming along! I’m on the hunt for a good tree skirt (instead of using a blanket like I have in year’s past) and have come across so many cute ones!

This is the viral Home Depot Christmas tree that Hunter bought on a whim last year! It looks just as good this year and feels very full of you’re looking for an artificial tree.
