If you’ve got a girls birthday party coming up and you want to incorporate disco balls use this idea… I took disco ball garland (which comes in several colors!) and twist your balloon garland around the disco ball garland. It creates a gorgeous display. But the disco ball garland is only available at Christmastime so make sure you plan ahead!

It was so fun wrapping this birthday gift for my niece who was entering double digits. I picked up wrapping paper in my color palette of teal and light blue and then arranged the wrapped gifts from largest to smallest and used my small but mighty Cricut Joy to add the numbers onto the presents. Ten gifts for a 10th birthday party celebration!

This was the most fun bridal shower activity… we had a hat bar where guests could decorate their own straw cowgirl hat. It’s perfect for a country theme shower or bachelorette party or ideal for a coastal cowgirl party. These hats were cost effective and come in a large quantity. Guests loved it and we did it in place of a party favor and shower games.

Josie is head over boots in love. I had the pleasure of co-hosting a bridal shower this past weekend for my Goddaughter who will be walking down the aisle next month. Our country loving girl was celebrated by friends and family with a good old fashioned hoedown. A few of my favorite details included a pick up truck bar, a vintage truck bench seat, popsicle ranch water, hay bale seating covered with family quilts, and a DIY hat bar. Giddy up y'all!

These custom champagne bottles were such a fun diy for brunch. It’s so easy… everyone can do it!

Step 1: Use painters tape to protect the bottle’s label.

Step 2: Use acrylic paint to paint the exposed glass on the bottle. Let it dry and repeat. You’ll likely need 4 coats before it covers completely.

Step 3: Cut out your the designs from your paper napkins. You just need a single layer.

Step 4: Paint Mod Podge onto the bottle where you want to place your cut outs. Put the cut outs on top of the Mod Podge. Paint a layer of Mod Podge over the cut out. It dries clear so no worries about getting a little sloppy.

Step 5: Tie a ribbon onto the bottle, chill and place on your table or give as a gift!

I used the matching napkins to my table for a cohesive look. It helps tie everything together!

Throughout the tablescape for the brunch I had little nods to the theme of “tying the knot”. I added grease proof wax bags filled with gourmet popcorn to each place setting to symbolize “He popped the question now she’s tying the knot.” I then used my Cricut Joy to add a bow to each of the bags. The bags were a perfect addition to my color palette and the popcorn served as a small appetizer while guests visited with each other prior to eating brunch.

A simple party favor for any dinner party really not just a shower is a box of matches. These white tip, white box matches are perfect by themselves or to add a little flare to. I had always wanted a Cricut but was so intimidated by them and concern over if I could figure out how to use it. I decided to try the small Cricut Joy and I love it! It’s so easy to use and it’s now a workhorse for all my parties. For this engagement celebration the matches not only complimented the indoor firepits I had on the tables but it symbolized the bride finding her perfect match.

I wanted to share more details this week of the engagement party brunch I had over the weekend. I needed a table that seated 12 but our normal dining table wasn’t long enough so I used 2 folding banquet tables and long beige table cloths that hit the floor. It’s an inexpensive trick for a high end look. And then I mixed and matched chairs and benches I already had in my home and I loved how it turned out. These tables have come in handy so often. Not only have I used them for additional seating when I’m in need but they also work so nicely as a buffet table too.

Over the weekend I hosted a winter wedding celebration for my Goddaughter who got engaged over the holidays. The theme was “Josie is tying the knot”. It was all in a neutral color palette with touches of light blue and silver. And cozy it was with tabletop fire pits, velvet ribbon and the glow of a pre-lit faux flocked tree. So many beautiful details to celebrate a beautiful bride to be.

Well this was sure fun! An indoor fire pit that runs on rubbing alcohol for a smokeless flame was the perfect addition to our party. Everyone enjoyed this sleek white tabletop firepit. Using this for s’mores would be such a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day or really any day!

A very inexpensive way to make a big impact when it comes to birthday party decor is balloons. And everywhere - on the floor, on the chairs and on garland going up the walls. These metallic balloons were GORGEOUS. All I needed was one pack of each size. But the electric balloon pump is a must!
