Good morning & happy Friday LTK fam! Hope everyone has a wonderful long holiday weekend!

After my first solo trip traveling w a toddler to San José, CA last wknd; Iris starting her 1st week of preschool this week; a new gymnastics class; getting the AC finally fixed after 2 wks w/o it 🥵 in August in Texas; & Jack having all sorts of tests, bloodwork & finally a big procedure yesterday- this Mama is TIRED.

Very, very fulfilled bc it’s not easy being a single mom, but I’m doing it & I’m doing it WELL. ☺️ Both my little chickadees are happy, healthy & taken care of & as a Mama that’s all I can ask for. 🫶🏻🦩🐕

But now it’s def time for a little r&r starting NOW.

A little me time drinking coffee by the pool watching the sun come up & happy to see Jack meandering around the backyard like his normal self again. 🙌🏼

Then off to grab some {more} coffee & catch up w an old friend.

Life is good. ☺️😊🥰🫶🏻🦩🩷

*& if you feel yours is anything but right now, just hang in there; keep putting one foot in front of the other & I PROMISE you will get there too. I never make a promise I can’t keep so just trust me on this one. 😉

Disclaimer: I’m not even out of the woods yet & still very much in the middle of a giant 💩 storm, but over time I’ve somehow learned to appreciate the small, little, nice, quiet, serene moments when they find me- or when I stop & realize they’re there & are actually prob there more often than I allow myself to realize bc I get so caught up in the 💩⛈️ most days.

I’m also positive this post will wind up in evidence in a courtroom one day, but hey!- if enjoying the sunshine on a quiet peaceful morning when you’ve spent all week kicking ass as a single mom & solo homeowner & writing about it on a forum meant for fashion, fun, lifestyle & beauty content is wrong then I don’t wanna be right! 😜
