As a newbie to self-tanning, these are amazing for beginners and experts alike!
My first time tanning process:
• exfoliate with lufa & body wash
• shave everywhere I plan to tan
• exfoliate again, but with sugar scrub
• rinse with cold water
• apply a light layer of lotion in all places your body creases: elbows, knees, wrist, ankles, armpits, etc
• I mixed 3 drops of the face drops into my fav Drunk Elephant moisturizer and applied evenly to my face
• I mixed 4 drops of the body drops in with my fav body lotion by Sol de Janeiro
• wash hands
• sleep & wake up with a gorgeous tan ☺️

Glossier Cloud Paint in SPARK☁️🎨

Cloud Paint is a seamless cheek color as described on the Hlossier website. SPARK is a bright poppy red color that is highly pigmented. A little goes a long way with this product, making it last me forever! I love how buildable this product is for a light pop of color or a heavy sunkissed look.
In my everyday makeup, I use 3 light coverage dots and begin blending with my fingers. After I’ve blended a bit with my fingers, I use a blending sponge to really blend it into my makeup. This layers beautifully with my favorite tinted moisturizer (posted on page) and does lift any makeup off after application.

From my experience with this product, other products blend together easily and I never get any piling from this product. Neutral smell & smooth application.
I have combination skin and often don’t use moisturizer daily because I get oily throughout the day. I have never felt greasy or oily when using this!

Following the dehydrator, I apply a nail primer to help prevent lifting.

•Laying the foundation: After nail prep is complete, I have my flash curing light on hand and ready to be put to use. I proceed by applying a thick dot of nail foundation gel to the Gel-X tip. Some people apply the foundation gel to their natural nail or spread the gel out before curing, but I personally don’t. I then lay the nail tip on my natural nail starting near the cuticle and pushing the gel down the natural nail. DO NOT MOVE THE NAIL TIP AFTER FOUNDATION IS APPLIED! •My current Night-Time Skin Care Routine•
After my day has come to an end and I’m winding down for the night, I will begin by rinsing my face with warm water. While my face is still wet I will cleanse my face using the Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Cleanser. If I’m taking off makeup, I will use a wet reusable makeup eraser to wipe all makeup away. I then rinse my face again with warm water and dry it. I will then apply The Ordinary’s Lash and Brow Peptide Serum. I use the applicator brush to apply at the roots of my top and bottom lashes. During the last few weeks that i have started using this product, I have not experienced any irritation with the product and will continue tracking progress of growth and thickness. If I have been breaking out, I will use The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution. I apply a drop on each cheek, my forehead, chin and spread it evenly. You are not meant to leave it on longer than 10 minutes, so I usually allow it to sit for around 8 minutes before washing off. I then end my routine with applying a layer of the LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask, which you sleep with and rinse in the morning.

•My current Day-Time Skin Care Routine•
I usually start my mornings with a shower to give myself a nice refresh for the day. After showering, I dry my face and apply 4 drops of The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% +HA to my entire face and rub in. After my first product has dried down for a few minutes, I use the dropper to apply 4 drops of The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. I have combination skin and have struggled with texture for years. I used these 2 products alone for along time and they single-handedly eliminated all bumps and rough patches I had on my cheeks and forehead. I will also use a few drops of The Ordinary’s “B” Oil when my skin is feeling more dry. I have recently began using 2 new products in my morning routine. The first being The Ordinary’s Lash and Brow Peptide Serum. I use the applicator brush to apply at the roots of my top and bottom lashes. I have not experienced any irritation with the product and will continue tracking progress of growth and thickness. The last product I use in my morning skin care routine is the Elf Happy Hydration Cream with hemp derived sativa cannabis. I often don’t use moisturizer as my skin feels balanced after using my favorite The Ordinary products, but this is a nice light moisturizer that does make my skin to greasy/oily. My last product in my usual morning skin care routine is the Tree Hut Sugarlips Lip Scrub. I use it to exfoliate my lips and then apply chapstick after to repair damage areas with moisture.

•Makeup Get Ready with Me•
I do my skincare before applying makeup (refer to my morning skincare routine post). I then apply the Wet n Wild Prime Focus Glass Correction Primer in green to cancel out the redness in my face. I will first start by curling my eyelashes; they usually fall during the time it takes to do the rest of my makeup so I will re-curl later. Second, I use the E.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil in Neutral to fill in my brows. I then pump some of the Saie Slip Tint in shade Three on my cheeks, forehead, and chin and rub in with my hands. I will put a light amount of the E.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer in Light Peach on the lower half of my face (under cheekbones and on chin). I use a damp beauty blender to blend all makeup in. After, I use a fluffy brush and apply the Benefit Hoola Bronzer around my hairline, nose, cheekbones, and my jawline. I will follow the bronzer up with some light contour using the E.l.f. Contour Pallet Pressed Powder. After I complete my contour, I spray my face with the E.l.f. Dewy Setting Spray and let it dry completely. I will use a highlight brush to apply an E.l.f. powder highlight (don’t know the name, don’t think they sell anymore) to my upper cheekbones, nose, inner corners, and lightly on my Cupid’s bow. I will re-curl my eyelashes at this point and follow with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Lengthening/Full Fan Affect Mascara. When I’m going out, I will apply lip stick or some lip gloss. My favorite lipstick is the Dior High Shine Lipstick in shade 329 Tie & Dior / Soft Rosewood. My favorite lip gloss at the moment is the NARS Afterglow Lip Shine Gloss in Orgasm. I will also add a small wing of black eyeliner occasionally using the Glossier Brow Flick in Black.

• What I use to do my own Gel-X Nails at Home •
Disclaimer: While I have done extensive research on the best ways to perform with Gel-X, I am not a licensed nail professional. What works for me may not work for you and vice-versa.

•Nail prep: First I measure each Gel-X nail tip to fit all 10 nails accordingly. I proceed by using an electric file to buff the inside of each tip. This will allow for the mail tip to adhere better and prevent lifting and breakage. I then file my nails using a hand file and follow by buffing the nail. I then apply a dehydrator to each nail bed. Following the dehydrator, I apply a nail primer to help prevent lifting.

•Laying the foundation: After nail prep is complete, I have my flash curing light on hand and ready to be put to use. I proceed by applying a thick dot of nail foundation gel to the Gel-X tip. Some people apply the foundation gel to their natural nail or spread the gel out before curing, but I personally don’t. I then lay the nail tip on my natural nail starting near the cuticle and pushing the gel down the natural nail. DO NOT MOVE THE NAIL TIP AFTER FOUNDATION IS APPLIED! If you move the tip you will create bubbles in the foundation, which you want to avoid to prevent premature lifting. I then flash cure the nail for 1 minute to ensure the gel completely cures. If you do not cure a nail completely before moving on, you can have an allergic reaction. Repeat steps on all 10 nails, then cure entire hand in mail lamp for 60 seconds.

•Designing: This is the fun part! You can file the nail tip before applying color and designs, but I personally don’t and it never chips. Paint and design your nails as you please. I love adding rhinestones and charms using rhinestone glue! Cure every nail accordingly as you paint. Once your design is complete, finish with a top coat!
