Packing for baby for the hospital! Here is what I make sure I have in my bag!
•Luka Bacpack & Mini Cosmetic Case
• mittens to cover those little long nails & a nail file bc right out of the womb those little nails are so soft & paper thin… I usually wait a week or so to use the electric nail filer.
• 0-3 mo. Pacis, I won’t bring any wubbanubs just plain generic pacis.
• 2 burp cloths: not that they will be doing much spitting up just yet, I like to have some on hand anyways
• Boppy feeding pillow: this is more for my husband to comfortably hold baby on the hospital couch or chair.
• Infant Lounger: this is my favorite to bring for baby. I like to swaddle her up and lay the lounger next to me in bed or between my legs on the bed… great for when you want to eat or use both hands for something without moving baby back to bassinet.
• all over sensitive baby wipes, travel size baby wipes, and a few diapers (they will provide you with those too)
• portable white noise machine in case baby needs help soothing
•. Socks and a soft blanket to drape over baby’s lap for the ride home.
***Don’t forget the car seat!!

• onesies, footies, wrap top with little pants: make sure the snaps or zippers are curved away from the belly button. Don’t want either rubbing on the cut umbilical cord.
• going home outfit: I always include a hat too
• extra Halo Swaddle: at most hospitals they will give you one to use & take home too, but I always bring one extra..
• little bow headband for pictures 😉
• Luka “Laptop Backpack”: I’ve had several diaper bags & I’ve found that backpacks are my favorite. Usually I’ll carry a more gender neutral color but I wanted to match my bag too 💕

My Toiletries & Other Essentials I pack in my Hospital Bag for baby’s arrival!
* These Cosmetic Cases are my favorite, many colors available and two sizes!
* The hospital air is so dry, I always make sure to pack some eye drops (which these are unbelievable, takes away all redness and dryness instantly) and some chapstick. This Lip Oil is my favorite too!
* Travel Size Shampoo & Conditioner and face wash wipes
* blow dryer and brush
* tech case to hold all my tech essentials
* extension cord bc the hospitals plugs are always behind the bed and the charger never reaches the bed!
* cooler: with the health status of our country, many hospitals aren’t allowing patients to order from the kitchen… so I’ll be bringing my own waters and snacks in this cooler bag
