My current beauty routines as a busy mom in her mid-40’s and my favorite products!

Busy Mom Morning Beauty Routine

I use different face washes in the AM and PM; my AM face wash has salicylic acid.

My skin can be dry so I use a face oil and cerave moisturizer after washing.

I use my tinted mineral face sunscreen everyday - it was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I’ve been using it for over a year.

I love Jones Road makeup and I use the dark brown eyeshadow to fill in my brows and finish with Tartelette tubing mascara and maracuja juicy lip plump shift lipgloss in shade “Big Ego"

I use both the Virtue and Living Proof products for dry shampoo and texturizing spray - just got more of the living proof dry volume texturing spray in the mail (using the one from virtue in the video) - so I’ll link all the ones I use!

Mid-Forties Mom nighttime routine

I’m a busy mom over 40 who doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on skincare and I don’t want to waste money on unnecessary products.

I don’t use a bunch of beauty products and it’s not a fancy or elaborate routine.

I focus on cleansing the skin and moisturizing (something important for our mature skin).

I start by removing my eye makeup with a lid scrub pad. I make sure to use either a different pad per eye, or use one side of the pad on one eye, and flip it over to use on the other eye. This way you don’t wash mascara and eye makeup all over your face when washing your face.

These eyelid scrubs are one of my favorite beauty products - that I don’t hear anyone talking about!

They were recommended to me by my eye doctor and I’ve been using them for 7 years!

I use a gentle Neutrogena face wash at night since I’m applying my prescription Tretinoin gel after.

I like to use Cerave cream and Cerave ointment for my face, lips and hands.

I brush my teeth with a child’s toothbrush because I have a small mouth and I like the soft bristles. These also have a suction cup on the bottom of the brush which is convenient for standing up the brush when I’m done.

I’ve been using these nose vents for about 3 years to open up my nostrils better. I put them in before heading to bed and take them out first thing in the morning.
