And just like that - the kids are back in school. 5th grade and 2nd grade. This time last year we had just moved to New Orleans. I don’t know how but time is flying. Imaan is 1 MA ❤️ As for me, I’m in my fitness era. I’m working out 4 times a week and I’m trying to eat healthy. I’m 39 in 2 months and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything this body has been able to do. Time to get healthy and focus on getting into shape. It’s been a wonderful summer, and now I’m craving discipline and routine in life. Apparently it was the first day of fall yesterday. So naturally the Illinois in us, set out some pumpkins, took out our sweatshirts and put them on in humid Louisiana in the hopes that the temperatures drop a little 🤣 #WalmartPartner

Parenting is not for the faint hearted and in this phase of life I feel like everyday is a new curveball thrown at us. Laila starts middle school next year and is my height now, Mikayl will go to grade 2 and in 3 months Imaan turns 1 IA. Each one of them a different personality, not easy to navigate.
