Trying on a new-to-me cut of Levi’s (not part of their sale):

• 501 90s ankle jeans size 24 with a petite friendly 27 length in “sweetest taboo” wash . These have the vintage style low stretch denim we love from Levi’s in an updated cut.

Compared to the Wedgies these are mid rise instead of high, and fit more relaxed throughout the hips and legs.

Compared to the Ribcage, these are also lower rise and just slightly wider in the legs

• Levi’s wedgie straight jeans in “space to think” which is a grainy medium blue wash. These are TTS and my usual size is 24 x 26. Since my weight has been fluctuating I ordered a size up (pictured is 25 x 26) for more room at my waist and thighs.

Other washes I recommend:
• “fully baked light wash”
• “well worn black” (actually a versatile charcoal gray)
• “Indifferent indigo - dark”

Cut is slim straight, slightly tapered ankle fit. High rise but not as high as their Ribcage. The denim has a more rigid vintage feel to it, minimal stretch which is typical of most Levi’s.

Trying on Aritzia bomber jacket which also comes in gray and black

• bomber jacket in light birch xxs - Petite friendly fit with structured shoulder padding that I thought made it extra chic.

• Levi’s baggy dad jeans 24x28 - so comfy with a lower rise. heads up these are actually pretty short in length, Which I love as someone 5ft tall, but I make sure not to put mine in the dryer.

These are non stretch with a relaxed loose fit. They come in cool performance fabric which is a thinner, more fluid denim thanks to the tencel cotton blend.

• J. Crew ballet flats 5.5 - I’ve had these for a few years, needed some breaking in but I love the classic shape, and wear with the linked socks

Trying on xxs Short in Burnt Cedar

Aritzia makes 2 coat styles in petite! They call it “Short,” but the entire garment is adjusted for shorter proportions like American Petite sizing, including the coat length, overall fit and the sleeve length. The two styles are:

1.) Slouch coat in (Re) camel Wool, Slouch coat in Wool Cashmere (may be thinner weight than the Recamel Wool one)

2.) New Stedman Coat

The Slouch coat runs very oversized while the Stedman is a little more slim fit.

I have on XXS Short in the Slouch Coat (Re) camel Wool and it’s a generous, roomy fit with plenty of room to layer a sweater underneath. Some reviews suggested sizing down.

Coat is very nice quality and truly a plush, thick, warmer coat but doesn’t feel heavy. There is an internal lining between the layers that adds extra insulation without heaviness.

• Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole suede ankle bootie 5.5. I walk miles in these! Runs a little narrow so I sized up to my bigger half size. comfy, well cushioned and with arch support. Slim stretchy shaft with zipper is comfortable and easy to fit under pants and jeans leg openings.

Levi’s slouchy dad jean in the 28 length which has a surprisingly petite friendly shorter inseam

• Levi’s Baggy dad performance jeans in “blue utopia - dark wash” 24x27 - these are non stretch with a relaxed loose fit, including looser at the waist.

These come in regular or Cool Performance Fabric - the latter is a thinner more fluid denim than the more rigid denim styles. I am used to higher rise jeans and did find the back rise to be a little short on me

Gentle Souls booties have several different style names and they pretty much all fit & feel the same and look super similar except for the heel shape. I own the Emily and Ebert in different colors (black, chocolate, beige)

Tried this on last week and keep thinking about it! Comes in other beautiful neutral colors like charcoal gray and camel.

• size xxs, Double faced elegant taupe wool blend wrap style coat with a long midi length. I’m 5 feet tall for reference.

Collar is a more oversized wider statement collar with drape to it.

Since it’s unlined and double faced, there is beautiful movement. Not a cold day winter weight coat.

For a loose cut jean, these have been an unexpected hit due to the cut combined with the “Cool performance” fabric - it’s a soft, lighter weight denim that is a cotton tencel blend with a little drape.

I’m 5 ft tall and the shorter 28 inseam actually works on me with flats!

Their original denim jacket vs. 90’s trucker jacket . I am LOVING the 90s for everyday and travel!

On the left:

Compared to their original denim trucker jacket this is a slouchier more relaxed oversized fit, very on trend and effortless-feeling, the material is unique in that it has tencel in the blend and drapes and is soft for denim, not stiff.

I usually do size 24 in Levi’s but went up a size here for comfort and a less snug fit. My weight fluctuates and I can do either Levi’s 24 or 25.

The wedgie straight are one of my top picks for Levi’s jeans that’s easiest to style and flattering on petites. Button fly.

The 26” inseam works on me with flats and looks nice with a low heel or booties too. I own them in several washes!

• 90s trucker jacket in “magic beans” medium wash xxs - I also tried the wash “worn in indigo” size X. for the same cut and it’s very similar with just a small difference between the two colors and sizes.

Compared to their original denim trucker jacket this is a slouchier more relaxed oversized fit, very on trend and effortless feeling, the material has tencel in the blend and drapes and is soft for denim vs stiff

I went TTS and have these in white, dark, light blue, and gray washes. Size 24 x 27 measures 12.5” across waist, 11” rise, 26.5” inseam.
