If you have a larger chest, though, this style fits slim and might pull at the buttons

Madewell sale! My elevated casual summer uniform;

• minimal strappy sandals. Love these and bought two colors! I’m usually 5 or 5.5 in most brands and a 5.5 here fit me best. FYI the front strap is a little narrow across the toes but is still comfortable for me. Lightly cushioned with a small stacked heel. The simple sleek sandals I have been searching for!

• drape weave vest 00. Slim fit and lightweight, Have loved this since last year. I wear it often with jeans or a black slip skirt. I took the shoulders up a little to make it more cropped but it was not a necessary adjustment.

• pull on linen shorts. Xxs fits big on me but I love these and have worn them often since last summer! Flat front clean waistband , elastic stretch back

Petite friendly denim shorts

• Madewell Harlow Jean shorts - reviewers stayed true to size, but I did sized down to 23P )

Size 23 measures 13” across the waist, 11” rise and 3” inseam

These are nice quality, flattering at the front and back with trouser inspired details

• white tank xxs, this is less sheer and a fitted material with a little shaping and hold . Cropped curved hem

spring Madewell try on

• Split-crewneck cardigan tank xs - I sized up per reviews but my usual size xxs would fit better. Xs is a little loose on the shoulders and armhole, but this a nice classic knit if you get the right size.

• Petite pull-on straight crop pants in linen blend 00P - these fit loose on me and are a pant version of the popular pull-on shorts I recommend.

The length shown is meant to be cropped, but on my 5 foot tall frame it's nearly full length. Very breezy and comfortable for the summer heat.

I wanted to show how my favorite Perfect vintage wide-leg crop jeans fit on me in regular sizing instead of petite!

These are a 24 regular (not petite) - and are a full length on me instead of cropped, with a high rise on me (while their petites have a mid high rise on me)

Slightly loose at my waist, so for regular sizing I might size down. They also have a wash in regular called Fitzgerald that has finished hems instead of raw hems. Inseam on regular for this size is around 26.5 inches.

Jcrew blazer 00 petite, great smooth fabric with structure and drape. Relaxed fit and their petite jacket sleeves always run a Little short.

Cos tee Xs in light beige, high quality, thicker structured tee. I sized up to Xs. Different colors have a different fabric feel - this color is a very soft one.

Madewell perfect vintage jeans 23 hems cut shorter, I can do petite or regular sizing and then cut the hems shorter. Regular has a high rise and petite is slightly lower in rise. Madewell jeans often run a little big at the waist - I do my true size 24 for a little room or size down to 23 for a more snug waist fit.

I then apply anti fray to the hems on my cut jeans!

New balance 327 sneakers, the kids 3.5 = women’s 5, the kids 4 fits like a women’s 6. I also fit women’s 5.5 in the same style

For a dressier feeling fluid fabric trouser in the same color, check out gap 365. 00 petite in gap also fits big on me at the waist and is a looser cut

Nice woven leather tote , looked beautiful in person with great strap drop length, roomy size to fit a laptop without being overwhelming on petites

I would use a base shaper with this if you don’t like base sag bc it has a softly structured base
