I know it’s not spring, but yes… I have started spring cleaning! 🙃 What else is a girl supposed to do when it’s too cold to leave the house?! 🧽🫧

TBH, I’ve tried other window cleaning and even wall cleaning tools that are similar to this. However, this one feels the most sturdy, comes with more washable cleaning pads, and has more functionality. The head bends in all kinds of ways so you can clean baseboards, cabinets, floors, and more. I love a good, multipurpose cleaning gadget - don’t you?! 👏🏼

NGL, my nap time cleaning hustle has been STRONG lately. 💪🏼 I know it sounds crazy, but I already started doing some spring cleaning. 🙃 Between the cold keeping us inside and a little vacation on the horizon, I figured I might as well get a head start. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I decided to spend a few bucks on this Amazon window cleaner (which doubles as a baseboard cleaner - more on that another day) so I didn’t have to deal with a ladder. It’s nice that I can use it to get the hard-to-reach spots whether the kids are awake or not. That just makes the process faster…and probably safer. 😅

It was a little awkward to figure out the angles of the head (it’s super adjustable), but once I got the hang of it we were in business! I’m really pleased with what I was able to do. The only thing is I don’t think it’s worth using for lower windows. The handle just gets in the way, and it’s not worth constantly adjusting. That said, I just did the lower windows with a microfiber cloth. ✨

For the price and versatility, I’m really glad I added this to my collection of home cleaning products. 👏🏼

This is your reminder to clean your garbage cans before summer ends! Especially if you live in a colder climate like me. It’s a stinky job, but a satisfying one! 😅🙃

FYI: You’re supposed to use an equal parts mixture of Simple Green and water for this. I was eyeballing it and ended up using a little extra water and it still worked. All the gunk lifted great!

How to Clean Your Garbage Can:
1. Initial rinse of the inside
2. Scrub inside sides + rinse
3. Turn sideways + drain
4. Scrub bottom, inside lid, + anything on sides that didn’t initially come off
5. Rinse inside + flip upside down
6. Scrub outside sides + lid
7. Rinse + air dry

It took me nearly 6 years to find a floor cleaner that actually made my hardwood floors feel clean. Turns out, I was looking in the wrong aisle! 😅

I stumbled upon these multi-purpose floor cleaners by Bissell when I was roaming around Target earlier this year. They were over by the wet/dry vacs, because technically that’s what they’re for. BUT turns out you don’t HAVE to have a wet/dry vac to use them. You can use them with a good old fashioned mop and bucket! Who knew? I didn’t, lol! 🙃

Obviously, I bought and love, so I had to share this little cleaning hack in case y’all didn’t know. 👏🏼

If your floors just never feel completely clean, give one of these a try. We’ve tried so many options over the years, and both @dane25z and I agree they’re the best we’ve tried yet.

PS: There are two types, regular and natural. I’ve tried both with just a mop and bucket, and they’re both equally effective. I’ve tested on both sealed hardwood and ceramic tile, too.

PPS: Yes, I did eventually cave and buy one of the Bissell wet/dry vacs as I’ve shared. But the machine *is not* necessary for achieving clean floors. It does help, though, and it cut the time I spend cleaning my floors in half (at least!).

I’ve been eyeing this Bissell multi-surface cleaner for MONTHS, and it’s finally mine. 👏🏼 I couldn’t pass up the Target Circle Week deal… it was like $80 off!!! I’ve actually been using the multi-purpose cleaning solution you pair with this for a few months, but with a mop and bucket. It’s the first hardwood floor cleaner that has actually cleaned my floors without leaving a sticky feeling or residue. I wanted this Crosswave because it’s a vacuum, mop, and steamer all in one. So I can do one pass on my floors to achieve the results of using 3 different pieces of equipment and 3 separate passes. With a scooting infant and toddler, I have to clean my floors so often.
