My hack to simplifying the holiday season? Decorating early. Yes, my tree and the white twinkly lights go up at the beginning of November. But this means my December is full of the magic-making and none of the holiday prep and stress (at least the self-induced kind 😉)

The work-from-home and educate-kids-from-home uniform 😜 My go-to staple in the fall and winter are these men’s Goodfellow crewneck sweatshirts. Many color options and they make it simple to dress up with minimal jewelry and hair done 👌

…and sandals. Because while it may be in the 50’s in the mornings and evenings here in Nashville, it’s not quite full-on sweata weatha, you know?

(Jeans are a size 8 and the crewneck sweatshirt is a large - love a looser fit for being appropriately dressed but comfortable at home)

The rule with wide leg denim: the pant leg MUST cover the heel. These ones do just that. Currently a size 8/10. These are a high waist button fly. I bought a 10 to ensure proper oxygen levels when sitting down 👍
