🍂 It’s been raining and giving major soup vibes for the past few days so I was excited to try and make lasagna soup! It was so good and I definitely plan to make it again. I love an easy recipe and this was it!
Ingredients:
1/2 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 cup White Onion
4 tsp Minced Garlic
1 Jar of Rao’s Tomato and Basil Sauce
14.5 oz can Petite Diced Tomatoes
32 oz Light Sodium Beef Broth (I’ve seen some use chicken broth instead)
1 tsp of Garlic Powder
1 tsp of Italian Seasoning
10-12 lasagna noodles (break them up)
Dash of Crushed Peppers (my husband doesn’t like a lot of spice so I didn’t add much but you can add more)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Toppings:
Shredded Mozzarella
Grated Parmesan
Dollop of Ricotta
I add a a table spoon of oil and sautee onion and minced garlic for a few minutes then add beef and sausage and cook until browned.
Then add everything to cook in crockpot for 6 hours.
Add lasagna noodles in the last 30 minutes to cook with the soup.
Add to bowl and add cheese toppings. Enjoy
