Pumpkin Brie Pastry
ingredients:
🎃1 puff pastry sheet
🎃1 brie wheel
🎃1/3 cup pumpkin butter
🎃1 egg for egg wash
🎃1 pretzel or cheese puff for the stem fresh sage leaves bakers twine
directions:
🎃Preheat oven to 375°F
🎃Lay puff pastry on parchment paper add pumpkin butter to the center and then the brie wheel on top
🎃Trim edges & wrap puff pastry around brie
🎃Cut pieces of bakers twine and tie them around the pastry to make your pumpkin lines. Make sure the knotted side is the bottom of the pumpkin (where all the puff pastry folds are) It may look a little off at first but just trust the process! Make sure the space the strings evenly, this step is super important to make it look like a pumpkin!
🎃Flip pumpkin over and add egg wash
🎃Bake for 20-25 minutes
🎃Once cooled, cut strings off, add your leaves and stem
🎃Enjoy!
