I’ve got a big to do List for things around the house, and so far, I’ve done zero of those things. I’ve gone shopping, haha! 😅🥴I did pick up some more sand paper for the secretary desk, and some sealer, so I’m hoping to knock that out today or tomorrow! I’m ready to get it finished! 🙌🏻

➕Building101➕

Todays topic for #building101 is outdoor spaces! Since I’ve got Covid, I won’t be on stories today to talk about it, but thought I would share some views of those spaces in a post! Hoping to get on stories tomorrow sometime!

We built our outdoor kitchen last summer, it’s been one of the best investments! We have all @blaze outdoor grill products for our kitchen. The brick is the same as our other brick in our home. You can find lots of info on the brick and how this kitchen was built on my highlights! One is called brick details, and the other is called outdoor kitchen.

Then I’ve got a view from the other side of the back porch. Our outdoor furniture was one of my top sellers last year! It’s very modern, but the outside of our home is definitely more modern than our inside! Where I am standing in this spot to capture this view is where we plan to put in an outdoor fireplace soon. Also, the big window, also has a bartop we built under it, and I finally decided on barstools for that area! I’ll share soon!Back porch is 12x46 and we decided to add on a small pad about 15x18 which is uncovered. We plan to build a pergola there and the bed swing I’ve always wanted! 😉

Front porch is 13.5x8 and it also has the same brick we used everywhere else in our home. Mortar is buff, same as everywhere else. Front porch and back porch almost mirror each other. Same doors, cedar posts, tongue and groove vaulted ceiling.

Did you catch my stories yesterday about the science project!? Liam is doing his first science fair project and he is trying to see how many lemons it takes to charge his iPhone 7. He originally wanted to see how many potatoes he needed to charge his phone, but we looked it up, and it is about 150 POUNDS of potatoes! 😳😳 we were like nope, let’s see if there is another food we can use.😅

➕Hidden Appliance Details➕

So I shared this space in stories and had a ton of questions about it! I’ve shared it before, but it’s been a long time! So here’s all the deets on this space! 👇🏻 save for later, cause it’s a must have for sure!!

This is an inset cabinet, but which means the cabinets close shut and are flush with the casing. The doors open up, and can push back to be out of the way. The bottom coffee area can be pulled out to easily access the coffee bar, and add water to coffee maker. Microwave is up top and has its own outlet behind it so you don’t see wires. The coffee maker has its own outlet at the bottom of the cabinet. This hidden appliance cabinet is so amazing because you can close this area off and it will instantly feel less cluttered and clean! ➕Chiropractor➕

Going to the chiropractor for the first time today! If you watched my stories last weekend, I talked about working on correcting my posture. I bought a posture corrector on Amazon and it’s been helping! I thought going to a chiropractor might give me some more tips and help to make sure everything is adjusted right!

Do you go to a chiropractor? I hear it can be addicting!!

For the longest, I left my upper cabinets empty, I loved the look! I try to keep decor up there simple because I don’t want it to feel to visually heavy. I have 11 upper cabinets with glass. Each cabinet size varies depending on the size of the cabinet it’s above. I have a big love for cake stands, and vintage silver teapots and tea pitchers. So I have risers or cake stands in each one and a few silver teapots and pitchers up top!! Other ideas for this area are below👇🏻

For the holidays, I take out my vintage silver and put in mini Christmas trees!!

These spill proof cups were definitely my top seller last week! I though I would share them again and the $5 cup cleaning tool I bought off amazon to clean out the straws, and tough spots! The cups are dishwasher safe, and done require any extra cleaning, but when milk accidentally gets left in the cup for a day or so, it gets super gross!
