One of our most asked questions is about our office! We made a custom desktop out of reclaimed lumber and added it to some file cabinets for a rustic cottage look. Couldn’t be happier with the finished product! The color ties in with the natural beams adding warmth to this cozy office space.

Best addition to the kitchen by far is this pot filler! So convenient and just makes sense. We removed the microwave above our stove and replaced it with a custom vent/hood. Visually this faucet fills the space. Other design ideas would be a picture frame or pot rack.

Sometimes you just work with what you’ve got design wise. We have this cozy kitchen corner with appliances and cookware all in the same area. We kept the location of the stove and added a pot filler for convenience!

Where do you watch TV? We like to gather as a family, pile on the couch upstairs with a big bowl of popcorn. Movie night!

Would I change the open shelving in the kitchen? Not. a. chance. I like having everything within reach! Not only is it functional but also aesthetic. I use these to display our everyday dishes and mugs along with a little decor each season!

We built this back in 2020, and the decor has evolved slowly over time. Some things have stayed the same and some have been updated. I use the same “formula” of books, greenery, candles, and decor items!
