ITALIAN STROMBOLI
INGREDIENTS
1 cup olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 bag of fresh dough from @publix
Salt, cracked pepper, Italian seasoning
15 slices of @boarshead_official salami
15 slices of @boarshead_official pepperoni
5 slices of @boarshead_official ham, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 white onion, sliced
2 1/2 - 3 cups of mozzarella, shredded
3 cups marinara sauce
1/2 cup of parmesan, grated
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and garlic. Mix well.
3. Remove dough from bag and season. Knead until seasoning is evenly spread.
4. Add dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Roll out dough into a large rectangle and brush with the garlic oil.
6. Layer on salami and pepperoni, evenly spread ham.
7. Add peppers and onions to one side.
8. Add mozzarella and dollops of sauce.
9. Roll up tight making sure to tuck in the edges. Square off edges.
10. Brush with garlic oil, top with cracked pepper/salt and bake for 25-30 minutes or until fully baked and golden.
11. Let rest 5 minutes, sprinkle on grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
12. Slice and serve with garlic oil and sauce.
