🖌️ If you’re stuck on what steps to take in redesigning a room, you might wanna evaluate if you have enough contrast… …. 🤍 Prioritizing contrast will dramatically shift your design. …. In this room, Black, Olive green and Chocolate brown all would have worked beautifully. If you love your neutrals, contrast can also be created even with neutrals/monochromatic elements. 🥳 Because I wanted to keep my bed, I decided to go with a darker paint… this not only made the bed pop it created the contrast I was looking for. By adding a darker rug underneath the light colored bed, it made the bed stand out even more. Maybe it’s the rug color or paint color that needs to change in your space in order to create that amazing contrast. ☺️ I plan on adding more warmth to this space by adding ambient lighting, beams, and brown tones. Let me know what you think so far and stay tuned for more updates to this room!
