Oh how Michael and I are both SO happy this project is over! 🤣🙌🏻🩵 I’ve always wanted a “pretty” laundry room and when we moved into our house last year, this room was last on the list to make “pretty”! 😅 We found the cabinets on FB marketplace (very sturdy/heavy duty cabinets) and they fit the laundry room perfectly! 💁🏼‍♀️ The whole point of the makeover though was to have closed doors on cabinets so Michael had to make them to match the existing doors on the cabinets we bought! We obviously wanted to do these on a budget, hence why we didn’t go the custom cabinet route! They turned out perfectly and I’m obsessed with the blue color! 🙌🏻🩵✨🧼 Also this is officially the last DIY of 2024 because we have a project we’re launching in 2025! 🤩

The project I thought we’d never finish 🤣…granted we’ve only been in our new house for 2 months, Michael and I were determined to have everything finished ASAP! 😜💁🏼‍♀️ This black hutch was actually the first “expensive” piece of furniture we bought (it’s surprisingly very sturdy/heavy) like 10 years ago…but it needed an update! 🙃 I had the idea to add doors to it (and a backing) to add to this open area in our kitchen! 🩵 Who knew it would be so hard to make doors and add hinges! 🤯 BUT WE DID IT and I’m more than happy with how it turned out! 😍
