As you can see, I’ve always loved Miss Dior. I do layer the perfume and body creme/milk to make the scent last longer - and it does. It’s graceful and sophisticated, with a great drydown. There’s just something about rose scents that I really adore.

This latest Miss Dior (the new fragrance) smells as lovely and classy as the prior. Both of them are floral scents. Aside from appearance, the main difference is that the previous one is musky/warm/sensual, and this latest one is soft/bright/charming. This new eau de parfum would be a great daytime scent, like the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I do love both and hope they don’t get rid of the other.

If you’re curious about the notes, the previous Miss Dior has the following: Calabrian Bergamot, Grasse Rose, Damacus Rose, Rosewood, and Pink Pepper, whereas Miss Dior The New Fragrance has Lily of the Valley, Centifolia Rose, Peony, and Iris.

With marine water and sea algae, Ilia’s blue light filter mist hydrates the skin, controls shine, and can be used as a makeup setting spray. Its tara extract is said to also act as a veil from blue light (HEV) by neutralizing free radicals.

The mist contains citric acid, which helps with reducing large pores, and antioxidants from tannins (extracted from the tara pods). It is a good face mist with a subtle lavender scent and this size is so handy when traveling but I could recommend other mists with the same effect that cost much less.

Mineral sunscreen and skincare products with antioxidants are already part of my daily routine, so I do not see myself purchasing this face mist just for the blue light protection it may provide. Anything with zinc oxide that protects the skin from UVA/UVB already protects against HEV damage. Dermatologists themselves are not convinced about “blue light skin care”; they agree that there’s still a lot of research needed.

The popular pink ultra plush foam is now green! It’s the same beautyblender that is designed to help with makeup application but is now called sustainable for its 60% plant-based composition and comes in this green canister, which is also made of recycled materials. While I love its soft texture, I hardly use makeup sponges and it works the same way as other brands that cost less, so I don’t think its retail price is justified.

Belif’s true cream aqua bomb is a K-Beauty fave. It’s very light, has a cooling feeling, and absorbs quickly. It also contains antioxidants that help with redness and anti-aging, as well as ceramides to provide hydration. However, it does contain stearates and polysorbates that can promote malassezia (fungal acne) growth.
