A few products I like to make braid takedown a lot easier!

Pair a leave-in or conditioner with water & use a tiny bit to massage at the root and use a rat-tail comb to gently detangle. Make sure you’re hair/root is completely detangled before washing! (Most important step!) Wash with a clarifying shampoo to strip buildup and have a clean base for your next style ❤️

Great find to remove any build up or excess oils on the scalp 💆🏽‍♀️ @Mizani’s Wonder Crown Scalp Foaming Pre-Cleanse help gets the scalp squeaky clean and balanced BEFORE your shampoo and conditioner.

My scalp and hair looked and felt so fresh after using this and I love how light and bouncy my curls were from this Reset Routine.

When my curls don’t get as much love as they deserve, @Olaplex home treatments are always my go-to. I’ve been using #olaplex over the last 5+ years & the No. 0 & 3 treatments always bounce my curls right back. I was at my last few squeezes of my stash at home (I use these to the last drop!), so I ran to @ultabeauty to restock 🧡

Step 0 is an intensive treatment to prime the hair for deeper repair & strengthening, and after letting set for 10 minutes, I go in with the No. 3 Hair Perfector. This step is uses a bond-building technology that helps repair broken bonds caused by chemical, thermal or mechanical damage to the hair (like this over saturated bun!)

@olaplex is great for all hair types and one I recommend to all my curlfriends looking to bring their hair back from over heat-styling, protective styling, or just a monthly deep treatment.
