@chuanger told me last night that our diaper pail has been empty for three trash weeks in a row now which means we officially have a fully 👏🏼 potty 👏🏼 trained 👏🏼 baby girl except honestly it all makes yesterday’s heart pangs over my little little big girl even heavier today🥺, so I’m finding solace in her sweet baby nursery secretly thankful we chickened out a little longer on moving her into the “big girls’”rooms. That and the fact @cassiearnoldart let me in on her secret to add a disco ball for extra cheer and, well, kind of hits the spot doesn’t it 😢.

It took seven years, but I finally wore @chuanger down enough to get a full-size rug in Alina’s room, and I don’t think this @ruggable rug could’ve been a better pick. I love our hardwood floors, but I’d never been a fan of bare floor in the girl’s rooms (plus my feet are always cold #aznprobs 🙃) — so us girls are ecstatic.

I promised him this was the only rug I’d need (only our second full-size rug in the entire home), but these are machine-washable rug, non-shed, stain-resistant (bc toddlers!) and non-slip — so... I think I’m gonna have to file this under #liesitoldmyhusband. #ruggablepartner

A photo of Amelia’s floral nursery was reposted recently and someone commented “this looks like one of those rooms that would have one of those useless rainbows in it”, and I absolutely think everyone should ignore internet comments, but also, hi, my name is Alice, and I can be petty af, soooo I found as many “useless rainbows” and stuck them in Alina’s rainbow-themed room. 💫

officially five months into quarantine decided that my my work from home office (ie dining table) was not a feasible long term situation and finally moved into the actual office slash gift storage slash craft and supplies closet slash guest slash monica ‘don’t go in there’ room bc my WFH situation might be more permanent 🤞🏼 but now i can be hooked up to our wide screen monitor and life 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 good (and so are my poor eyes). If you’re working from home, where are you usually set up?
