the editing is the hardest part but the most necessary step because after that you can effortlessly categorize your items by type, sort them by color, and get your closet accessories in order (hangers, drawer inserts, hat boxes, belt hooks, purse stuffers, etc).

Truth: I have been putting off cleaning out my fridge for months, but with a well-organized pantry and cupboards, I could only avoid the chaos of the fridge and freezer for so long.

With a new grocery schedule (thanks to COVID-19) I knew that it was finally time I tackle this part of the kitchen.

This is the smallest fridge & freezer I’ve had in my adult life, and so it’s taken some time getting use to just how much I could buy at any given moment, but by cleaning everything out & investing in some much needed storage solutions, I finally feel like I have my life together.

as pretty as they may be, i find very few “pinterest perfect” organization images to be aspirational...

inspirational? sure... but aspirational... meh😕

...because i never find em to be more than just eye candy 🥺

i can’t relate to the convenient rainbow assortment of la croix and gatorade... 🥤🧃🥴

i can’t relate to the farmers market inventory of fruits & veggies spanning every color of the rainbow...🍅🍊🍋🥬🍇

and i def can’t relate to the fifteenleven shelves of bottles water 😅

do those photos I N S P I R E me to get my shit in order...i suppose... but i do not A S P I R E to have a level of organization that’s void of my reality 🥱

where’s the sazon?

when i decided to finally tackle my tiny fridge i could’ve totally staged it “for the gram” (hashtag goals lol) but i would rather you see the basically empty bottle of jelly next a bin full bottle of activia lol and think “it me” so that you could go take care of your corner of the kitchen 🙃
