Recently, I embarked on a new exercise to focus on positivity and bring happiness into my life and those around me. I tend to dwell on negatives, which can feel safe as it shields me from potential hurt. However, I am determined to retrain my brain to avoid automatically going into survival mode, even for the most trivial issues. I have decided to share 16 things that have made me happy in a new series called Friday Favorites to shift my negative mindset and inspire joy in others.
