We try so hard to have screen free fun on the way to the beach. Here are the winners for us! *my littles are 2.5 + 5.5* We hit storms on the way home and caved the last hour, so these really lasted us 8 hours there and 8 back. It takes work from the family to keep everyone engaged, like playing hang man, practicing letters/ numbers on the notebooks, and then counting trees/cars/signs/birds with the clickers, etc. I also bought two of the magnetic boards and water books (to keep it fair Ikykikyk). Lastly, I bought different age group sticker books, this one listed is for my 5 year old! The sticker by numbers are her absolute favorite!

Since we are always late, one thing I’m going to teach my kids this summer is time and routine! My 5 yr old already knows numbers to 100, so this should be a breeze, right?!

18-24 coming in hot! Water tables and mud kitchens keep us entertained for hours, the strider bike is an ingenious invention that both of my kids are obsessed with, the floor toddler bed is a good transitional piece that fits a twin mattress, the swing is for so many things (look it up!) and the colors and people come in clutch in s lot of teaching instances!

I bought these bad boys for their Christmas gifts, but because we were in the middle of a huge move, we were just able to hang them! We all love them so much, how fun! Mine are technically not available, currently, but I’m linking some similar cute ones (these were not found upon my search, or I would have gotten any of these colors!)

I understand sometimes the screen is necessary to get through dinner, I don’t judge the parents that do it; however, I try my absolute hardest not to! We didn’t use the screen at any restaurant while at the beach! Check out the winners here! Again, mine are 2.5 + 5.5!

I used the sling listed every public place we went to with a few toys in it each time to mix up the variety! I had a few more tricks up my sleeve, that I’ll link below, too!

When we travel, I like to take rotated toys (in this case, the baby dolls and blueys surf car and camper), and a few new toys to ensure attention spans are kept for us to at least get our coffee down, or for the adults to get ready in the evening. Drinking coffee on the porch swing while they play will always be a trip highlight!

*My littles are 2.5 + 5.5 and my youngest loves any ball, so the hoop (that you can also take to the pool) acted as our porch hoop! My 5 year old loves puzzles and sticker books, so I was positive she would love the LiteBrite and it was a hit!

**Lastly, these are miniland dolls, seems to be similar to our Minikane dolls. They help teach our kids diversity, they have babies from all over the country including babies with disabilities. It’s so sweet to teach how God made us all different.

It’s not the prettiest compilation, but by golly, we had the best time the other day with just some floats and a tarp. The rest of the items pictured, we have. Can’t wait to share our summertime with my kids outside!
