I’ve been on the lookout for a new small lamp for my bathroom but haven’t found exactly what I want. So, I decided to update the shade on my existing lamp until I found the perfect one. My plan was to cover the shade with fabric and add a decorative trim. In the process, I decided I liked the simplicity of just the trim on a plain shade. I got glued the trim to the top and bottom edge of a plain shade and in less than 10 minutes, I had a new and updated look. I’ve been looking for some block print style pillows in neutral colors and just haven’t found any that I like so I decided to make my own.

I already had a cute leaf pattern rubber stamp and brown stamp ink.

I bought a linen pillow cover for $7.00, and stamped the leaf all over the pillow cover.

I just “eyeballed” it and didn’t measure but you certainly could if you wanted it to be more perfect.

You can order lots of different rubber stamp patterns and ink pad colors to make your own block print pillow.

I recently got this rechargeable lamp and I’m loving it!

I love having lamps on in my home and have several places where I don’t have an outlet.
