Didn’t get any good pictures of our matching hill house dresses yesterday, just this dark shadowy one back at the hotel at 11 pm. 😢 These styles have been pretty picked over for the holidays, but Hill house has so many great combos that work for mother/daughter (especially if you have a tween who’s choosy about her outfits.) I’m in a small and Arabelle wears an xxs.

My NYC trip MVP goes to this fabulous faux fur coat from Tuckernuck. It is so lux and warm. This was a bit of a splurge, but I know I’ll wear this classic coat for years. The color is dark brown, but in some light, it looks black, which I think adds to its versatility. I’m in a small, but I wish I had sized up to a medium, so I would have a little more room to wear over bulkier clothing. You can also wear it with or without the belt. I’m sorry, but I have to say it. This dress is a 10.…I bought it for the holidays, and by holidays I mean Christmas, NYE, and valentines. A pink sequin number can be worn year round. It fits tts. (I’m in a small.) It’s comfortable, a good length, and just a total showstopper. (Also less than $200.)

My black jacket from Tuckernuck has been fully restocked this season after selling out last year…it has the flowy appearance of a cape, even though it is a jacket. It is such a fun piece that looks great styled over jeans and boots.
My favorite black leather boots from Paige are currently $200 off! They have a classic look and a block heel with a zipper for easy on and off.

The best quilted jacket! Love this piece! It looks like Hill House or J. Crew, but is Target. Quality and fit are great. I’m in a small and have plenty of room to wear it over sweaters. This will be something you can wear for many falls to come.

If you hate jeans like I do or feel like it’s impossible to find a pair that look good on you, I have found a universally flattering pair! Not too wide. Not too straight. A little bit of stretch, but not too much. Comfortable, comes in three washes, high rise. They’re pricey, but worth the investment. Everyone needs to own a pair of great fitting jeans!

A great outfit doesn’t have to be complicated! This black puff sleeve tee is probably five years old, but so classic and feminine, I pull it out every fall. Tuckernuck has the new updated version out for this season. The Veronica Beard jeans are expensive, but worth it. I love the cuff and the color is great. At first, I thought they were pretty wide, but paired with a boot, they are very flattering on. The Draper James boots I have on are on major sale (over $100 off). They’re comfortable and the heel height is not too low, not too high. Snatch them up before they’re gone!

Prettiest fall wedding guest/party dress from Tuckernuck. Also comes in black velvet for the colder months and the most amazing green for the holidays. The Mary Jane pumps from Nordstrom are incredibly comfortable and have almost as much padding as a sneaker. I wore them all night with no complaints.
