Transitional Farmhouse Vibes

My flipping style has evolved into a combination of traditional design and functionality, modern lines, and farmhouse charm, what designers have termed “transitional farmhouse.”

When it comes to bathroom vanities, while I appreciate the latest trends and pops of color, ultimately, I stick to classic tones and really do love how vanities made of various wood materials warm up a space.

For fixtures, I keep it simple and classy with matte black or brushed gold selections…and it’s ultimately the ceramic tile that dictates that decision.

These are a few of my favorites in my Wayfair list as I design our latest flip!

My first successful flip. ✨

(…the first attempt to flip was not so successful! Story for another day😜).

This was the first home I personally chose the materials (with a nod of approval from my biz partner!).

BRIGHT ambience and clean lines have become characteristic of my flipping style.

These walls are SW (Sherwin Williams) Agreeable Grey, but I’ve actually opted for SW whites recently.

Natural toned LVP floors, light walls, bright kitchens and a hint of farmhouse feel have become my LOOK.

When sizing mirrors for vanities, interior designers recommend 80% - 100% of a vanity’s width.

In this shared bathroom, we followed the 80% rule and selected 24” black matte, circular mirrors (2, double sink) to complement our 60” vanity.

Circular mirrors are also perceived as a more luxurious finish in comparison to rectangular options.

I’m also pretty picky about my faucet choices. 😜

Our most recent flip in Homewood, Illinois was inspired by transitional farmhouse vibes.

With a bright aesthetic, farmhouse light fixtures and a statement kitchen backsplash, this home received a lot of action within its first few days on the market.

Under contract in 10 days, with multiple offers (several OVER asking price), we were delighted to see the design we curated capture the hearts of many future homeowners. ✨
