One of the ways I do self care is by doing my own manicures at home. One of my favorite nail polishes is cateye gel nail color because it is highly impactful, and low effort!

Since I’m my own nail lady, I made sure to get myself in for a fill. (I am not a nail tech, I just love to treat myself to an at-home manicure.)💅🏽

Using the cordless e-file I remove the existing gel nail color from my nails, making sure to leave the builder gel on. Then, I clean up the cuticle area, making sure not to skip this crucial step of nail prep. Once my nails were fully prepped, I moved on with the manicure.

I apply base coat to the bare nail area, being sure not to touch the skin with the product. Fully cure with a UV LED nail lamp between each coat of builder get and then applied cat-eye nail polish. ✨🪩 cateye nail color it gives it the fun nail art vibe without any art skills required. I finish with a clear topcoat, cure, then wash my hands and apply cuticle oil.

Style tip- keep your manicure looking fresh by keeping a cuticle oil stick / pen handy so your manicure stays looking fresh!
