Do you love the luxe designer fridges? ME TOO!! I always have loved appliances, and fridges have topped that list, even when I was a kid. I just love looking in them, how they’re set up, how clean they are when they’re empty…

I also cook a LOT and our fridges in the rentals we lived in prior were always packed, so I knew I wanted a lot of space. Keep in mind, we live a lonnng way from town, so “just running into the grocery store for dinner” is sort of an ordeal. We try to keep a lot of food and staples on hand!

We saw this fridge in another home before we started building and we knew it had to be for us. It’s the only “designer dupe” I know of on the market — huge single-panel separate fridge and freezer — but about ⅓ of the price of the other top luxury fridges on the market. I couldn’t stomach spending that much on a fridge, especially when I loved this option so much. Plus I actually liked the look of this one better than most of the designer ones!!

PS - this fridge is not “built-in”. It’s technically two freestanding units, and it comes with magnetic trim pieces that fit around it and make it look like it’s built in. So it is a different set-up than many of the built-in designer pieces (which is one of many reasons the pricing is so much lower).

Backsplash Tile

We LOVE the backsplash in the kitchen, it makes such a statement! This is the Cle Zellige Moroccan tile in 4” x 4” square. It is stacked with minimal grout and has a lot of texture and variation to it. (PS - We also have a cheaper tile inspired by this from Home Depot in our apartment upstairs in the kitchen. It’s very close and is also a great choice!)

Source for Hardware

It’s no secret we loooove this hardware. We have both the 5” cup on the lower cabs and the mushroom knobs on the uppers. This hardware is made in England, rich dark brass color, super heavy and substantial feeling, and is made by a small company. J’adore.
Island Dimensions

The prep island in the back (black counter) is 51” wide and 75” long. The closer table/island (white counter) is 38” wide and 75” long.

Fridge Size

So happy with this fridge purchase! This fridge is 🤌🏼 *chefs kiss*. Each side is a single-panel fridge and freezer. I cook a TON and we live far away from stores so we go to Costco once a month and get a ton of stuff. Having this much space is super helpful!
