From dark and scary to bright and airy—just the way we like our transformations around here. 3 of the best things we included in our kitchen renovation are: 1. Paneled appliances— just look at how seamless the dishwasher is in comparison to before. Makes me swoon. 2. Cabinets or drawers for everything we didn’t want on the counters (bye bye microwave and plastic cutting boards) 3. Planned our layout around a bigger, centered window for more natural light. I was set on not having the screen on the inside of the window so we went with double hung (traditional slide up window) instead of casement (crank).
