Vacation Outfit

📍Rodin Museum, Paris
One of my spring capsule wardrobe favorites is sale— these trousers are $38 from $128! (Final sale) They are true to size and come in 2 lengths. I am 5’6”, 125 pounds and wearing size 4 in the 30” length (inseam).
Color is sandstone. Also LOVE the light grey (heather steel). It’s on sale for $51.

Have you been the Rodin Museum? It’s one of my favorite places in Paris. Rodin lived here (the mansion is known as Hotel Biron, and was built in 1732) for 9 years before he died in 1917. It became a museum 2 years later.

✨My Loft blazer is on sale for $55!
This is the blazer I wore on my recent trip to Paris. I love the double-breasted cut and the heavier weight kept me warm on a chilly fall day. Here I layered a cashmere sweater underneath. My shoes are Vivaia; I walked all over Paris in them. Shoe crush!

Do you ever wear a cardigan backwards? I really like it for evening, and it’s another reason a cardigan is a great piece for a capsule wardrobe — it’s versatile. I am wearing a cardigan by Naadam (linked but currently out of stock). It wasn’t marked as reversible but it works and I’ve found many of them do. I’m linking another favorite that works well backwards, the Gaspard by Sézane.

🇫🇷What I packed and wore for a fall trip to Paris (5 days) -> Swipe to see the outfits. It fits in a carry-on but is a great capsule wardrobe whatever your luggage preference.

FYI, I used to overpack. This is what I do now:
1️⃣ Create a color palette
2️⃣ Try everything on
3️⃣ Limit to 3 shoes/boots

Adapt it for winter travel with 3 swaps:
1️⃣ Wool coat instead of trench
2️⃣ Boots/booties
3️⃣ Dark trouser or skirt instead of beige cotton.

📍Dinner in Paris
Another outfit from my capsule wardrobe for fall travel. My cropped pants are by BA&SH (linking similar). They were one of 4 pants I took (the others were 2 jeans and one black trouser), and this is one of two blazers. This was a lighter weight; the other was heavier, almost a pea coat. My shoes are by Vivaia. They have cushioned in-soles and were comfy enough for walking on cobblestones, + chic enough for wearing to dinner.

Dressing for Paris in fall🍂. I packed classic pieces for layering that mixed and matched easily. It was a coolish but lovely day, about 58 degrees, and I this outfit was perfect. My fall shoes are by Vivaia and have cushioned soles — made for walking all day.
