It’s taking everything inside of me to let the pilgrims have their moment this year but so goes when it’s one of your husband’s favorite holidays... Ways to make your home (or your friend’s, sister’s, daughter-in-law’s) festive for the holidays... here’s my current top 12... 1. Cutest tree whimsical skirt I’ve seen in a while. Think of all that pattern play under the tree with all the wrapped packages. Yes, please! 2. 2020 is the year of puzzles so it would only make sense to throw this one of your coffee table and build up your guests’ confidence little by little while you wait for the ham to come out of the oven 3. I don’t need to explain...peppermint and cookie and truffle...=instant festive 4. We grew up with mother dearest always tying a big red bow around the top of the tree and calling it a day, this little tree topper is an attempt at stepping up the game. 5. Who collects?! If not, you should start. 6. Pretty Ribbon can tie sleigh bells to a chandelier, be the finishing touch to the perfect wrap job or in a bind, make your outfit look real festive all while keeping your pants up 7. This little Christmas tree dish continues to catch my eye-clean enough to hold anything from cheese & crackers to cookies & peppermints. 8. The more color the better. Period. 9. I made friends @sweetcarolinedesigns and @artbyoneill pick up a copper bow for me on an estate sale run a few weeks ago and despite their skepticism, I cannot wait to show off the little beaut on my front gate. How cute would this similar friend look on your mailbox or lamppost or below your front door lanterns? 10. Is it just me or are matches/match strikers becoming a thing again? How cute would it be to drop off a load of fresh firewood at a friends house tied up with a bow & these matches in hand? Or even fresh taper candles? (Advent wreath anyone?) 11. My MOther-in-Law gave me this book a few Christmas’ ago and to this day is still fun for me to flip through to get ideas. Southern Christmas’ bring a lot of tradition. 12.
