The WHY here 🫶🏼 Prior to getting pregnant, I was running at least 3x a week. I tried running in the first trimester with the approval of my doctor but ultimately had to stop because I felt so nauseous anytime I would try. So I decided to walk instead once nausea subsided and I felt better. Prioritizing my walks has been one of the best things I’ve done this pregnancy. Here’s what changed for me: ✨ no aches, pains and swelling. I am almost 36 weeks pregnant and truly never felt better. I was so swollen and in so much pain with my twin pregnancy at this point that this honestly feels amazing. ✨ better sleep. I get 7+ hours of sleep every night and I believe a big part of that is due to my walks. ✨ controlled weight gain. I truly feel amazing and didn’t even buy maternity things except a few pairs of biker shorts because I’ve been living in them for my walks and summer. ✨ controlled blood pressure. I developed high blood pressure towards the end of pregnancy with my twins and with this pregnancy it has been under control! Hoping it continues to stay that way ✨ better mood and more energy. Let’s be be honest, taking care of twin boy toddlers is a lot and I look forward to these walks daily because it’s self care time for me and exactly what I need at the end of the day. I encourage you to get out daily even if it’s for a short walk and see how much better you will feel as well 🫶🏼 . . . dailywalks pregnancy pregnancylife pregnancydiary pregnancyfitness maternityfitness 35weekspregnant thirdtrimester LTKActive LTKBump LTKFitness
