Who else gets major “style block” this time of year?? (Think “writer’s block,” but when it comes to fashion.) Transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall can be a struggle, but there are a few simple tricks you can try to simplify the process… and you’ll likely have every piece you need already in your closet! Here in Telluride, we’ve already had a light dusting of snow on the mountains, but our fall temps can really be all over the map – 70 degrees and sunny one day, cold rain, even snow the next. The frequent changes in temperature (even in a day!) can make getting dressed a challenge.  Here are 3 simple style tips to help you take all your favorite dresses from summer to fall…  1 | Add a jacket - Be sure to choose a jacket that flatters the dress. When in doubt, choose a tailored blazer to add forgiving definition.  2 | Wear tights - Tights are a very simple way to create a long, lean line and also keep you warm. When I lived in the Northeast, I wore tights on the daily to work. 3 | Swap sandals for boots - It’s a simple swap that will completely change the look. Be sure to wear socks over your tights to keep your feet extra warm!  P.S. This black dress is GORGEOUS. It reminds me of a Balmain piece because of the amazing fit, the quality of the fabric and the luxe gold buttons – a wow piece for sure! Fit runs true to size. ~Erin xo LTKWorkwear LTKSeasonal LTKStyleTip
