The tulle and lace detailing is STUNNING. When you go to religious sites, you need to make sure your shoulders and most of your legs are covered. This dress has lining to the knee and the sheer tulle fabric extends almost to my ankle, which made it the perfect elegant option to wear. I added a white cropped tweed jacket when we went into the church to cover my shoulders, but I really love the elegance of the dress on its own. Fit runs true to size.

I decided to dial up the drama for our Vatican City tour and went with this gorgeous Bronx & Banco dress. How gorgeous is this tulle and lace detailing?! I threw on the white Cinq à Sept cropped jacket when we went into the church. I completed the look with a white Valentino handbag and the metallic flats. These flats are incredibly comfortable and SO good for lots of walking. (True to size.)

On our first full day in Rome, we spent the morning taking a Big Bus Tour to see all of the main sights. It’s one of our favorite ways to see a city!

On the tour, I wore this gorgeous blue and white mini dress. I love this dress SO much I now have FOUR of them in a variety of colors/lengths. (When you find something you love, you can always buy multiples!) The fit and flare shape is incredibly flattering. The thicker straps provide great support, and the material is very lightweight and breathable so you won’t overheat during the hot summer months. This pretty blue and white pattern is very European-inspired, which felt perfect for this trip!

A major must-have basic for summer is this casual white button-down by Quince. This top is so similar to the Rails Ellis button-down that is such a heavy hitter for me every spring/summer. But…it’s only $45! It’s made from organic cotton that is super soft, breathable, and lightweight. It runs a bit on the large side. I’m wearing an XS and it still has a relaxed fit. It also comes in 6 other colors.

This button-down is…wait for it…washable silk so it’s easy to care for. It’s lightweight, skims the body, and has some stretch to it. You know how silk can sometimes be too warm on the skin? Not this one. It feels so lovely on. It’s thermo-regulating so it won’t make you hot (a must for summer!). It comes in a bunch of colors, and it’s a great price point for silk at $70. I’d say it runs slightly large; I’m wearing an xs.

This gorgeous Quince ivory sweater is incredibly similar to another high-end designer sweater I own, but it’s around an 1/8th of the price!!! 💃 It’s 100% organic cotton, has a ribbed texture, is lightweight, and has a flattering cropped length. It’s that super versatile layering piece you need for chilly evenings or just when you want some coverage without getting too hot. And you can even wear it year-round. The question is… how many colors to buy?? Fit runs slightly large; I’m wearing an xs.
