I'm SO torn as my husband built these beautiful shelves. In our old home I painted them white and I can't decide if I want to recreate the nursery exactly how it was with white shelves or leave this natural finish.

Spent the weekend painting Dean's board and batton wall in his nursery! We will be able to hang his name sign up tomorrow and then we have one more part of his room to finish 👏🏼 it's such a rewarding feeling to cross off a big project!

We sorted Dean into his Hogwarts house now that he's 9 3/4 and he chose RAVENCLAW!!! 💙

We had so much fun - Dean's Hogwarts shirt is from Universal Studios so I can't link (you can find it on their website though)- but rounding up some infant Harry Potter outfits & the Dog sorting hat/ ball toy we used for the sorting ceremony! (most are on sale!)

For me, a neutral nursery was calming. With subtle notes of color & greenery. I was determined to make it a calm environment for not only my little one, but also myself, since I would frequently be in there. I love how our Harry Potter nursery turned out- it was such a fun project & I can't wait to watch the movies with my boy someday!

One of my favorite things about Dean's nursery is the dresser my husband made for him! 🥹 I showed him some Pottery Barn inspo I loved and he made the dream a reality. He also built the floating shelves too! It helped our boy's Harry Potter nursery come together perfectly! ✨🪄

If you didn't know... Pottery Barn Kids + Teen has a HUGE Harry Potter collection that is simply magical.

A few things I found for Dean's nursery aren't available anymore (like the Hedwig garland 😭) but there is so many incredible finds- I have to hold myself back from adding more to his nursery!
