Have you looked at a space and thought something isn’t quite right? That’s what happened with our dining room. As I continued to hone my styling skills, I realized that the wall art wasn’t proportionate to the dining table and was overwhelming the space 🤦‍♀️. It’s important to have balance and a cohesive design. It’s also key to create a focal point in any room, so that direct where to draw attention and create a sense of order and flow. So I removed the 3rd piece of wall art (it’s hanging in our stairway), and centered the 2 pieces in front of the dining table, then added a nice faux tree (no green thumb here, sorry lol) to provide visual interest in the corner without overwhelming it. We changed the chandelier, dining chairs, and console table and added some fun wireless sconces! We also opted for a leaning floor mirror behind the console, and love it!
