Story 3: quilt & sheets

I own a couple of these quilts and a couple of these sheet sets from @onequince and they are truly my absolute favorites. I paired the Giza cotton sheet set with the European Linen Stitch Quilt and the combination is so good.

The sheets are silky soft with a smooth sateen finish, but still breathable and temperature regulating for year-round comfort. The quilt adds that relaxed linen texture and subtle stitched detail that makes the bed feel layered and intentional.

Together, it gives you that boutique hotel feel without it looking overly styled or stiff. The quality genuinely surprised me, especially at this price point.

The simple packing mistake that ruins your clothes before you even arrive: folding in half ✈️I use the wrap method - long items like pants and maxi skirts go in first, flat, so the full width is on the long side. Everything else packs in the center, then the long layers wrap around for soft corners, no hard creases. ✈️ A few more things I swear by: light-colored packing cubes are easier to spot in a dark suitcase. Ponte is a knit construction, so it doesn't wrinkle like woven fabrics do. And I always wear my trench on the plane so the collar roll doesn't get crushed in the bag. 🛄 I’m wearing the structured cardigan in ivory S, trench coat navy S, suede loafers size 8.5 (TTS), ponte pants XS (I have the 32” inseam and had to hem it; I recommend the 30” for flats). New year and time for a new bedding refresh.
